A lady from Calvary called this evening with a transportation need. Cathy Bell recommended she call and ask if someone from the Women of Heart group might help. Her name is Phyllis Dalton. She is not able to drive because she broke her wrist on Friday and had surgery this past Sunday. She is home now recovering but she has a skin cancer treatment (on her scalp) that was already scheduled for this Thursday, the 29th.

If you would be willing to pick up Phyllis from her home on Treasure Island at 1:15 pm for her 2:00 appointment at the St. Anthony’s Outpatient Center in Carillon, please reply. She will be there for about 90 minutes for her cancer treatment and then need a ride home.

The Women of Heart team continues to minister to Valerie through the month of August. Valerie has physical limitations due to Multiple Sclerosis and is most thankful for the help we provide her. We have the opportunity to serve the family heading up the Women of Heart ministry for a change. Nicole’s father-in-law passed away today surrounded by family. It would be such a blessing to them if some of you could aid in providing light refreshments (assorted trays and that sort of thing), drinks and serving essentials for a service being held at Living Hope – The Gathering on Friday evening, July 23rd. Good Evening Ladies,

Patricia Hodson had surgery today to have a pain pump connected. This has given her great hope in dealing with the chronic pain that she has had for years.

The medication is a new natural alternative. She did not want to use addictive narcotics. Please pray for the success of this method.

She will need help with light house work in the days ahead but right now I would like to set up a few meals for she and Kevin as she recovers.
