Tomorrow (Tuesday) she need a ride to Harborside in Tampa at 1:00 for a 2:00 appointment that will last about an hour.

On Thursday she needs a ride for a procedure that she is having done at Moffitt in Tampa. She would need to be picked up at 6:00 am and would be finished at approximately 10:30 am.

If you are available to take Kathy, please reply for her cell phone number.

Thank you,

Hello Again,

I have added the September dates to the meal schedule for Todd and Marla Magin. Since there are so many new volunteers, it is worth repeating a little about their situation.

Todd was diagnosed a few years ago with systemic lupus. He was experiencing a lot of symptoms and the doctors were ruling out different diseases. His medical history is very complicated and he has been on such a roller coaster with this disease. His heart, lung and kidney function are not very good at times.

This family has been through so much over the last few years and we’ve tried to walk along side of them and help them in the most practical ways. They don’t have any family in town and they are so appreciative for their church family at Calvary.

I have been using another web site to organize their meal schedule. You can click here to access it directly. It is called takethemameal.com. You simply click on the “take” button next to the date that you would like to serve them.

The live near St. Judes on 5th Avenue North near 58th Street in St. Petersburg.

Good Evening Ladies,

Now that we’ve settled into the new school year routine (four days down and 176 school days to go until summer), I’ve got to catch up on telling you what opportunities are available for you to serve!

I would also like to say a BIG WELCOME to all of our new volunteers! There are many that have joined this ministry in the last month. I am so thankful for your willingness to serve others in the name of the Lord.

We have added additional dates for this meal schedule.

Shane recently had surgery. He is home recovering and we would like to find a few volunteers to bring him a meal again.

He lives in Pinellas Park near 58th Street and 88th Avenue.

If you would like to serve him a meal, please reply with which date works best for you.

This weekend at church we are trying to donate items for the Center of Hope. All donations should be brought to the church this weekend. There will be trucks in the parking lot and volunteers collecting donations. Their needs list is below:

Food Pantry items: These items must be new and unopened! Canned food, dry goods, cereal, dry milk, pop tarts, plastic bags to distribute food.

Homeless Outreach: Tents, blankets, soap, boots and shoes.

Thrift Store: Clothing of all types but the largest need is men’s clothing. Household items, furniture, pots and pans. Clothing racks are needed too.

Put your donations in your trunk today so you don’t forget!

If you missed their video last weekend at church you can check out their web site –

Good Morning Ladies,

Here is the next set of dates for the Magin meal schedule. Please click here to access their schedule at takethemameal.com.

Marla spent the morning at the hospital yesterday for abdominal pain. The worst pain she has ever felt. I don’t know if they’ve determined what the cause was but please keep them in prayer. She is home now.

Thank you,

Nicole
